EL AL, the national airline of Israel, is now offering three special promotions to benefit Matmid club members. Matmid points can now be used to further enhance the EL AL in-flight experience and there are more options to utilize points.
EL AL has extended the offer for Matmid members to pamper themselves, and save 20%, when upgrading their seat from economy to business or business to first class. Passengers departing from New York (JFK/Newark) can now combine $250 plus 300 points (each way) and from Los Angeles, the cost to upgrade is $250 and 350 points (each way).
Through October 31, 2010, EL AL frequent fliers also have the ability to transfer Matmid points from one account to another for a small fee. As a result, earning bonus tickets and upgrades is faster and easier. To take advantage of either promotion, Matmid members should visit www.elal.com and log into the E-Club page.
